Product Description
MAPLE TREES: Maple trees are large, deciduous trees that grow throughout the world. In the United States, they are more common in the northern states. Many people know maple trees for their spectacular fall color.
Crimson Queen Maple: One of the most purchased maples in the United States, the Japanese Lace-leaf Maple. Most of these plants in this subgroup are rounded shrubs growing to about 12 ft. Some will reach 20 ft. in 100 years. There are two cultivars in this subgroup that do grow upright (Seiryu,Lionheart). The leaves of these cultivars is what makes this group a standout. Usually the leaves are pinnately or double pinnately dissected and have the margeins toothed or serrated. The hues and colors of the different variety's are almost as nice as the Fall colors.
